Welcome to South Asians in Sports Inc. (“SAIS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website at sainsports.com (the “Site”) and related services, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

 

By using the Site, signing up for a premium membership, or accessing our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Eligibility

 

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Memberships

3.1 Membership Types

​​

  • Free Membership: Allows access to newsletters and limited resources. Free members provide their personal information via our email list database.

  • Premium Membership: Accessed via Circle. Premium members can post in public discussion forums, direct message other members, and access premium programming. Memberships are billed annually and automatically renew unless canceled.

3.2 Payment & Refunds

  • Premium membership payments are processed through Circle.

  • Memberships are non-refundable. Canceling your membership stops automatic renewal, but you retain access until the end of your subscription period. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.

3.3 Donations

 

Donations are accepted via PayPal. Donations are non-refundable.

4. User Accounts & Conduct

​

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information.

  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

  • SAIS reserves the right to remove or ban members who violate our Code of Conduct or these Terms.

5. User Content

​​

  • Premium members may post content in discussion forums, including text, photos, and graphics.

  • You retain ownership of your content, but by posting, you grant SAIS a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content on our Site, social media channels, and reports.

  • SAIS reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content created and published by SAIS, including articles, reports, social media content, research, and graphics, is owned by SAIS.

  • Members may not use SAIS content without express written permission.

7. Data Collection & Use

​​

  • SAIS collects personal information including name, email, LinkedIn URL, headshot, location, gender, race/ethnicity, company, and job title.

  • Data may be shared with partners to identify speakers or as part of partnership agreements.

8. Events & Liability

  • SAIS may host or promote events, panels, and conferences. Attendance and participation are at your own risk.

  • SAIS does not guarantee outcomes, results, or benefits from participating in any events.

  • SAIS is not liable for any injury, loss, or damages incurred during or as a result of participating in events or using third-party links.

9. Links to Third Parties

 

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites, including Circle and PayPal. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties.

10. Termination

 

SAIS may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause, including for violations of these Terms or our Code of Conduct.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

 

The Site and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” SAIS disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SAIS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, memberships, or participation in events.

13. Governing Law

 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes must be resolved in the courts of Mercer County, New Jersey.

14. Changes to Terms

 

SAIS may update these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on the Site with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any changes.
